How long does it take to find the right boat?

It depends on the model and on what the market has available. I give you a realistic estimate at the first meeting and I update it only when there is a real boat to assess.

Is the boat surveyed before purchase?

Always, by an independent surveyor specialised in wooden hulls. The survey arrives before any offer.

Who handles transport?

I handle the arrangements myself, with hauliers specialised in vintage boats. I quote the cost separately, before confirmation. If you already have a haulier you trust, that is no problem: I am glad to coordinate with them.

And if the boat needs restoring?

The survey says so, with estimated time and cost. If you decide to go ahead, I follow the restoration myself with a trusted specialist yard, or I coordinate with a professional of your choice. On request I prepare a full quote covering purchase and restoration, so you have a clear picture from the start.
